Under the direction of Professor Juan Carlos García Prada, has 16 professors and researchers from the Department of Mechanical Engineering and actively participates in Instituto Pedro Juan de Lastanosa of the Universidad Carlos III

Conducts research, development and innovation in the field of Mechanical Engineering. Its activities include research projects applied to the industry, vehicles, transport, security and defense concerning advanced mechanisms, special mechanisms, magneto-mechanical, applied tribology, biomechanics and monitoring and measurement techniques.
